Guardianship Support Services Summary
Support Services for Guardians of a Person
|
Knyvett Lee and CareSource, Inc. have served as guardian for hundreds of individuals since the late 1980's. Because of our vast experience managing cases, we have well-structured systems and can assist family guardians in all aspects of their guardianship responsibilities.
We have experience dealing all types of clients, from the youngster who has received a medical malpractice settlement to the senior citizen recently diagnosed with dementia. We are familiar with the needs of clients with mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well as those with developmental disabilities.
While our organization is only a quasi-legal entity, we are familiar with specialized trusts, alternatives to guardianship and the local rules and vagaries associated with the administration of guardianships.
If you are the guardian of an individual’s Person, CareSource can help you with:
- Preparation of the Initial and Annual Plans outlining the ward’s abilities, treatments and plan of care
- Regular visitation of the ward to assure their personal care and environment is appropriate
- Attendance to medical appointments, serving as the “medical historian” for the memory impaired or non-compliant ward
