Daily Money Management Services
One of the first indicators that life's everyday routines have become stressful is a mounting stack of unopened mail and unpaid bills. Home visits by Care Managers will help to identify this issue and we can then help by implementing a Daily Money Management program.

Some people opt for our bill paying service, often used in conjunction with home visits by a Care Manager. This removes the burden of writing checks and balancing accounts and allows our accounting staff to computerize the account(s). Others prefer a monthly visit from one of our bonded and insured Financial Specialists to assist with bank reconciliations, medical claims and other financial needs.

Quarterly financial reports can be provided to the designated party when our in-house bill payment service is chosen.

Medical Claims Processing
The processing of medical claims can be as minimal as reviewing explanations of insurance benefits monthly, or as involved as tracking all claims for extensive medical treatment for past years.

CareSource has served local health centers, banks and investment trust departments for their clients' medical claim processing needs. Our financial department will track all the medical bills, and you never have to pay the claimant until all insurance benefits have been received.

Oftentimes, CareSource can act as intermediary and even negotiate with the provider of services for a reduction in the balance due when there is a proven financial hardship.

Benefits & Entitlements Counseling
Understanding what entitlements or benefits are available is quite a feat. Whether you need to plan for Medicaid, are unsure of your current Medicare benefits, require assistance with additional insurance, or benefit applications, CareSource can help.

When accessing potential pension benefits, we have carefully scripted requests for additional benefits prepared by a Human Resource Specialist. These letters have the proper terminology and phrases to trigger an answer (and potentially a result) from the pension Plan Administrator.

When applying for supplemental Security Income (SSI,) Social Security Disability Income (SSDI,) Optional State Supplementation (OSS) and Veteran's Administration (VA) benefits, we are familiar with local offices and are well versed in the criteria needed to allow for a smooth and trouble-free application process.

And when the time comes, we can assist and guide you through the Medicaid application process, as well as advise the client in advance of some simple planning techniques to maximize the allowable resources.
